Studio Info & FAQs

Everything you need to know before your first class.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class to allow time for parking, check-in, and a brief introduction to the reformer and studio flow before class begins. Grip socks are required for all classes for both safety and hygiene purposes. If you do not already have a pair, grip socks are available for purchase at the studio. Our classes are designed to feel both challenging and approachable, creating an experience that is effective, empowering, and adaptable to every level. Your confidence, form, and connection to the movements naturally improve with each class.

Grip socks are required for all classes for both safety and hygiene purposes. If you do not already have a pair, grip socks are available for purchase at the studio. We also recommend bringing water to class, although water is available for purchase in studio as well.

Yes, we offer eight dedicated parking spots located directly behind the studio near our back entrance. Please note that only the eight spots on the right side of the rear parking area are designated for SIX ABZ Studio guests. We kindly ask that guests do not park in the neighboring spots reserved for the children's karate studio. Additional parking is available along Ventura Boulevard directly in front of the studio, as well as throughout the surrounding area.

Our classes are designed to be challenging, effective, and intentionally paced through slow, controlled movement. While the workout can be high-intensity, it is also low-impact and adaptable to different experience levels. For those newer to reformer-based training, we offer beginner classes focused on form, pacing, and building a strong foundation before progressing into our regular classes. Our standard classes move at a faster pace and are designed to be more physically demanding, while still allowing clients to work at their own level and improve over time.

Yes. Private sessions are a great option for beginners who want a more personalized introduction to reformer training before joining group classes. They allow for a slower pace, more detailed instruction, and individualized guidance based on your comfort level, experience, and goals. Many clients also use private sessions to improve form, work through limitations or injuries, build confidence, or focus on specific goals and areas of progression.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after class begins, you will be considered a no-show and your spot may be released to a waitlisted client. If you enter after class has started, we kindly ask that you do so quietly to avoid disrupting the flow of the class. If it is your first class at SIX ABZ Studio, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early for a brief introduction to the reformer and class flow.

Classes may be canceled up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time without penalty. Any cancellation, class change, or reschedule made within the 12-hour window will incur a $15 late cancellation fee. This policy helps us accommodate waitlisted clients and keep class availability fair for everyone.

Reserved spots that are missed without prior cancellation will result in a $20 no-show fee charged to the card on file. We understand that unexpected situations happen. If you are unable to make it due to an emergency, please reach out to the studio directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If a class is full, you may join the waitlist through the booking system. As spots become available, clients may be automatically added into class based on their position on the waitlist. Please note that if you are added into class within the 12-hour cancellation window and are no longer able to attend, the late cancellation policy will still apply. We recommend monitoring your waitlist status and removing yourself from the waitlist in advance if your availability changes.

All purchases, including memberships, class packages, and single classes, are final sale and non-refundable. Please contact the studio directly if you have any questions before making a purchase.

To help maintain a focused and comfortable class environment, we kindly ask that phones remain on silent during class and that filming is avoided while class is in session. This allows everyone to fully enjoy the experience without distractions and helps protect the privacy of those around you. We love seeing your workouts and progress shared online and encourage photos and videos before or after class.

To preserve the calm and elevated atmosphere of the studio, children under the age of 16 are not permitted inside the space. Our goal is to create a focused, uninterrupted experience where clients can fully disconnect and enjoy their time in class. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
